Microplex Radio – live audio streaming

We occasionally stream audio of events, live. When we do the stream is at:

We generally bring the stream up an hour or so before an event, which will be streaming silence. You will then hear the walk in music followed by the performance. We will also play walk in music between the bands. There is generally a 20-30 minute break between bands.

We play the walk in music fairly quietly on the stream but the bands should be a lot louder.

We will advertise on facebook and twitter.

We use Darkice open source software running on a a Raspberry Pi with a a Creative EM-U 4040 audio interface to stream. The stream is broadcast from a icecast server hosted by xtreamlab.net.
